About the meeting

The 55th meeting of the Society for Natural Philosophy will be held September 13-15, 2019, Friday through Sunday, at Loyola University Chicago. The Society was founded in 1963. For information on past meetings go to the SNP website.


All talks will be in Room 123/124 of the Institute of Environmental Sustainability (IES), which is building 41 on this map.

    Call for Roundtable talks

    A very limited number of openings to give Roundtable (25 min) talks are available. If you are interesting in applying for one of these slots, please send an abstract of your proposed talk to Arash Yavari. Special consideration will be given to young researchers.

    Travel support

    Funding from the National Science Foundation allows for a limited amount of travel support for graduate students and postdocs. If you would like to be considered for funding, please contact Arash Yavari.
