Travel to
O’Hare Airport is served by all other major airlines.
Efficient public transportation is available from both airports to the conference location.
Hotel accommodations are tight because of the Chicago Marathon that weekend.

The rates for the Crowne Plaza were the best that we could negotiate and it is the closest hotel to the meeting. The rates at the two other hotels are much less but of course are a train rides away. Participants should make their own arrangements directly with the hotel of their choice and state that they will be attending the AMS/American Math Society meeting. The AMS is not responsible for rate changes or for the quality of the accommodations. Rates quoted do not include taxes. Hotels have varying cancellation or early checkout penalties; be sure to ask for details when making your reservation. Please note that due to exceptional tourist business (conventions and Chicago Marathon) hotel rooms rates in the downtown area are extremely high and availability very limited. AMS was able to secure rooms at the Crowne Plaza for $175 per night. This hotel is located within walking distance of the meeting. See information below.

Please note the following hotels are located near O'Hare Airport in the Rosemont suburb of Chicago.
Both hotels are on the CTA Blue Line ($2.00 from each location and exact change is recommended to simplify entering the train stations) and are approximately 30 minutes to the meeting.
